Being up there to perform for the crowd was one of the biggest highlights of my life; it was an adrenaline rush that exploded through my veins

How do I begin! I never experienced the durability of the mind and body until I met Mark Cotton. It’s a name that I will never forget; I will definitely hear the name for years to come.
Since my years of competition in organized sports are far behind me, I decided to pick up on something new – the sport of bodybuilding. Its incredible how these men put their mind and body through so much. It wasn’t like the sports I played in the past.
For the first six weeks, I had my mind set on my first show. It wasn’t an NPC show but rather a Gym show. I figured if I wanted to get into this business, I needed to start somewhere. As the dieting changed and my body started to adjust, I was starting to mentally lose it. If that wasn’t bad enough, I had to deal with my trainer’s mouth five days a week.
I’ve trained…and trained with professional trainers…for 15 years, but nothing like this *%@#^%^. The man would break you mentally and physically. This $#&^%$# took me to a new level of harsh training. I never put my body through such training. The man pushed me to the extreme. It came to a point where I started to hate the bastard. As it got closer to the show, 3 weeks out, my diet changed from steak and protein shakes to f$%^*&# chicken and broccoli for 6 to 8 meals a day. Now that shit really broke me. I can’t even look at chicken the same.
My attitude even f^%$#^& changed. It even started to put a strain on my relationship. Now that shit was the worst part. Eventually the show ended up being cancelled. I was frustrated for weeks.
But, I’m glad I met Mark. The man knows his shit and is an excellent trainer. I’m planning to compete in 8 months and this @#%^$#*& is going to be the one to get me ready; even if I don’t want to. To be the best, you have to be surrounded by the best. So…I look forward to training with Mark in the future.
